Author : tracy Millionaires have several characteristics in common They see the world in certain ways and so they do things in certain ways If you want to become very successful at anything, including making a million dollars, you need to do what the millionaires do

1) Focus
If you are to become very successful at anything, you must have focus Mark Fisher uses the idea of gardening a rosebush to illustrate the power of focus If you have a branch with several buds on it and you allow them all to grow freely, you will end up with several flowers about the same size But if you remove all the buds except the most promising one, then that one gets all the sap and nutrients in that branch and will grow to a spectacular size

We all have lots of ideas and things to do “growing” in our minds If you remove all the ideas and tasks that are distracting you from what you really want (the project that will make you very rich and/or successful) then your project will benefit from having all your
time and energy and thought and will grow to be something magnificent, which will make you very rich and/or successful

One benefit of having this focus is that it gives you the desire to do whatever you need to do to achieve your goal, even though some things are going to be very uncomfortable for you There will be mistakes and setbacks, obstacles and roadblocks, and you must have the attitude that there is no turning back You must succeed, because this is what you have focused on

2) Have a goal
If you do not have a goal, you will not even know if you have been successful You will not know what you are aiming for, or what you want to achieve with your life Having a goal allows you to start thinking about how you will get to it, and developing a plan of action, or at least determining the first step you can take towards it

In order to have a useful goal, it must be specific (so you know what it is that you’re working towards), and it must be measurable (so you know when you’ve achieved it) It should also have a time frame so that you will start working on it now This is not a deadline; it is more of a target, and if you miss your target, it’s no big deal because you can just set another one

3) Have Faith
If you are going to really succeed at anything, including becoming rich, then you must believe that you can do it You must commit to doing it, by being willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it This will only happen if you believe that you really can do it You must have faith in yourself

Arthur L Williams (the founder of a multimillion dollar insurance company) says that “The number one problem that keeps people from winning in the United States today is the lack of belief in themselves” What we achieve is what we anticipate achieving Tim Ferris, who
won the national kickboxing title 6 weeks after being introduced to the sport, says that most people fail not because they lack the skills or aptitude to reach their goal but simply because they do not believe they can reach it I am convinced he’s right

4) Take Action
Nothing happens until you take action You will never achieve anything sitting around and visualizing your goal and feeling good about it You have to get up and do something The purpose of spending time visualizing your goal and feeling good about it is to make you get
inspired to do something in order to achieve it Your intuition will tell you what to do, and you must be paying close attention in order to receive and interpret its messages

As long as you take the first step towards your goal, then you will be able to determine what steps to take from there by continuing to pay attention to your intuition You don’t have to see the whole path at once; it will become clear to you as you are moving forward
Even if you fail, you will gain insight about what to do next time

5) Perseverance
If you are going to succeed at anything, including becoming a millionaire, you must not give up You must realize that you are going to have obstacles and roadblocks You will have mistakes and setbacks You must be prepared for them, and not afraid of them You must realize that mistakes and setbacks teach you valuable lessons that you can use to move forward towards your goal

“Do not quit when the tide is lowest, because it’s just about to turn” You must realize that “you are not a failure until you fail to try” Never give up, and you will be successful

The first and foremost thing any successful person understands is that you must take responsibility for your life You can not complain, blame, or justify your current failures Only then can you focus, set goals, believe in yourself, take action, and never give up
If you can do those 5 things, it is only a matter of time before you succeed at anything you want to achieve, including making a million dollars Tracy Crowe is the author of this article.

Author : Nelson TanDo you recall the classic statement, "the only constant is change"? It is an ever-present phenomenon, and by comprehension at the level of man's intelligence, a tricky one, because change is in constant clash with timeless principles, which by evidence of established patterns, do not change

The winner is the one who knows how to maintain and manage the balance between change and timed, principle-based progress on a daily basis, which all boils down to the little decision-making that counts One thing is for sure: the "final decision" is the only one that is expressed in action, which will translate into results How you arrive to that decision ultimate hinges on the summation of your reaction to the present moment (a moment of change?) and your personal values (are they timeless?)

Interestingly, if you should look back at how you made your 'final' decisions in the past, you may find a pattern and a set of reasons for why you made your decisions in a certain way Now, this is a part where you as a reader would be wondering what point I am driving at

It's all in the habits

Habit is the encompassing definition of the translation from "how you think" to "what you do" It is incredible that general statistics point to a real fact that 80% of businesses do not last over 2 years, but at a personal level, people don't seem to realize larger implications and consequences in the scheme of things even as they drudge through the motions of daily work

Some things never change, particularly knowledge at grassroots level An effective habit grounded well is knowledge applied from grassroots level onwards In business, how many people know how to increase leads, build a database, convert them into customers, develop relationships with them, treat them right, follow-up and mold them into repeat customers? But this is the foundation for future profits, no matter how you work your business and how often you change your methodologies or habits

It is not easy for people to bear principles in mind while being adaptable to changing situations, but no matter how vague the truth is, it is that "the root of all things keeps them in a firm position" Therefore one can be down but never out Setbacks are temporary only when they don't displace you completely Yes, you can solve them with a tweak and a change

On the other hand, the need for a change can make one uncomfortable depending on its scale Ultimately, think through this: if your business is not doing as well as it should for quite some time, what decisions have you made and actions implemented to elevate it from your current situation, so that it won't be the same or even fall towards failing tomorrow, next week and next month? Strange but true, as long as bad times continue, today is the best time for you to reflect, take stock of your business and re-strategize for the better If you have not done so, do not procrastinate If you feel stuck in a quagmire, I would like you to be fully aware that your habits of yesterday produced the results and outcome of today, and whatever you do today, you will be tomorrow This is an irrevocable and natural law!

If you do not change, change will conquer you! Being smart at conquering change is all about being creative and inventive at doing things in a different way, not doing completely different things, but the primary purpose is the same: to survive! No business can ultimately be a success if it is unable to survive Every business needs to know what changes are occurring within its environment and will be in the future to effect a corresponding change within the company When right and wrong decisions are separated by a fine line, they must be made without regrets after careful evaluations of the best actions that will steer the enterprise in the preferred course Awareness and experience through the rough times can only help to sharpen your survival instincts for better days in the future regardless of any unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances If there's anything good that came out of setbacks, it is that you have grown to respond against complacency and proactively take charge of your life with new ways, new habits and new solutions

Embracing a readiness for proactive self-change is actually a catalyst for spotting and working out opportunities, which is essentially an act of stepping yourself up to the next level Setbacks and problems are everywhere waiting for someone to solve and profit from them If only you have talked to enough people and opened your eyes wide enough, you would have seen that the hotel, airline, retail, tourism and F&B industries, among hundreds of others, are in dire need of help Every other day, people are looking forward to the next savior who can propose a solution-be it sales and marketing, customer retention, loyalty and affiliation schemes, products and services, technology optimization etc -that makes them say, "Bingo!"

So for this article, I touched on 3 major issues: embracing the need for change, considering the impact of habits and laying the foundation of principles He who can work within the ebb and flow of these 3 issues will be enriched with professional experiences It is with experiences and through awareness of these experiences that wisdom can be cultivated, and with wisdom comes understanding, pertaining to the nature of a problem, in order to arrive at an appropriate solution through creativity and innovation, endorsed by all Nelson Tan is the webmaster behind Internet Mastery Center. Author : tracy Habits to Make You Happy Regardless of Circumstances

There is probably nobody we are more jealous of than someone who is happy all the time The worst punishment we can think of for someone we dislike is that they will not be happy We long to be happy We strive for happiness, searching for all those things that we think will make us happy But that is our first mistake Happiness does not come from outside us; it will not come if and when we get something It comes from inside us, and if we are always focused on what we think will bring us happiness, we will miss the happiness we have right now when we focus on all the blessings that are already in our lives There are several habits we can adopt that will help us focus on our happiness in this moment

The most basic happiness habit is to focus on the solutions, instead of all the problems Stop blaming and complaining It has been said that the average person complains 70 times a day Instead of seeing yourself as a victim of circumstances, see yourself as a person who can and will find a solution to your problems To focus on solutions, Marci Shimoff talks about a method in which you rate whatever is bothering you on a scale from 1 (very bad) to 10 (excellent) Let us say you rate it as 6 Then you find all the reasons why this is a 6 instead of a 1, instead of finding all the reasons why it is a 6 instead of a 10

Another habit is to not believe everything you think It is one thing to question what other people say, but how often do you question your own beliefs It has been said that 80% of most people’s thoughts are negative; that works out to more than 45,000 negative thoughts every day One practice you can do is to ask yourself the following questions about your negative thoughts and beliefs: Is it true? Can you absolutely know that it’s true? How do you react when you believe that thought? Who would you be without the thought? Then you can create a “turnaround” statement which expresses the opposite of that thought or belief When you start questioning your thoughts, over time they simply lose the power to upset you

A third habit is to focus on gratitude for all the blessings in your life Most of us take many things for granted We focus on our problems or on the things we don’t have instead of appreciating what we have right now No matter how little you have in your life, there is always something you can be grateful for, even if it is just the gift of life itself Gratitude is actually good for our health too It creates a specific energy that affects our bodies positively Marci Shimoff tells about an exercise to focus on gratitude Every day, you can pick a “theme of the day” If today’s theme is water, for example, then every time you wash your hands, brush your teeth, wash the dishes, shower etc you would notice and appreciate the water, and let it remind you to be present in the moment and purely grateful

These are just a few things you can do to train yourself to be happy, no matter what is going on around you If you can start practicing these three exercises you will be become increasingly happy You will have what you have been longing for

Author : tracy 3 More Habits to Make You Happy

Happiness is probably the one thing that every one of us desires most When we say we want a thing, it is because we think that that thing will make us happy It is really the feeling that we are after Many of the things we do every day, however, do not make us happy What we need are habits that will encourage and reinforce good feelings within us Here are a few habits, we can all adopt

One habit that will lead to happiness is to trust that life will unfold in a manner that supports you Indeed, everything that happens to you is intended for your own growth, development, and improvement We so often want to control everything that happens to us That’s because we are afraid that something bad will happen if we let it Happy people trust that only good things will happen to them, so they are able to let go They do all that they can, and then surrender to God (or whatever you want to call the Higher Power) and trust that things will work out for the best This leads to a deep sense of peace and well-being

Another habit that creates happiness is to spread love and kindness in the world When we are in love, we feel incredibly happy Sometimes, however, we are confronted by surly teenagers, annoying coworkers, and slow and/or dense sales clerks This provides us with an opportunity to practice sending loving kindness to everyone, even if they are being a pain It can be as simple as just wishing others well Once love has been switched on in your heart, it creates a strong current of love and happiness because a heart overflowing with love is continually being filled with more love

A third habit to create happiness is to tune into your body’s wisdom when you make choices that affect your health You are much happier when we start to love and trust the wisdom of our body We tune into our body when we know when it’s time to sleep, or time to exercise, or time to take a bath, or time to eat Your body knows exactly what’s best for you at any given moment but often you ignore it The way to tune into your body’s wisdom in any situation is to ask yourself questions like “Is this what my body really wants or needs?” or “What am I really hungry for?” or “What do I really need to recharge my batteries?” Sometimes you will get an immediate answer in the form of a physical sensation Then you can choose the things that will cause you to expand, to grow, and to become happier

There are several things we can do every day to make ourselves happier The important thing is to make them into a habit, to do them consistently every day Our habits can make our whole live happy, or they can make us miserable Choose good habits always Tracy Crowe is the author of this article.

How do you see the world? If you are like most people, you focus on all the things that are wrong with it There is the terrorist threat from Al Qaida There is global warming There are gangs and drugs There is poverty and hunger The list goes on and on It is pretty depressing It takes away all your energy It makes you feel ineffective It makes you wonder what the point of even trying is

You are actually wired to see the world in this way Our nervous systems are hard-wired to be sensitive to negative signals of impending danger This is so that we can solve or eliminate whatever is preventing our success, and bring ourselves back to a neutral state This way of thinking actually protects us under very difficult circumstances Most people think like this most of the time It has become their dominant mode of thought

Why is this such a bad thing? It creates a pervasive anxiety Anxiety erodes our confidence; and confidence is crucial for productivity and success Our anxiety blinds us to the possibilities and opportunities around us

What would happen if we focused on all the things that are beautiful and inspiring in the world? There are people who perform courageous acts of love for others There are mountain meadows, and tide pools on the beach There is fact that we live in a nice home and have 3 good meals a day There are rainbows What if we saw the world with the wonder of a small child?

What if you searched for, and found, all the good things around you? You could then take your personal assets, the assets of the people around you, and the assets of the situation that is going on right now; and build something very special out of them You would not just be able to see opportunities and possibilities You would also be able to use your own assets and the assets of the people around you to take advantage of those opportunities and create something special

You would feel motivated and energetic You would feel purposeful and passionate You would feel proactive and creative You would be focused on making those things happen that you want in your life It feels a lot better, and is a lot more productive, to do that than it does to focus on preventing and correcting the things that you don’t want in your life

Get to know your talents and strengths really well Get to know your goals well See yourself (and everyone else) as a work in progress, yet as perfect the way you are You, and everyone else, are always good enough yet always learning and growing

See the good in other people Compliment others out loud and often Imitate the best qualities of others Accept other people for who they are; not for who you think they should be, or would like them to be When conflicts happen, realize that both viewpoints could be right simultaneously so that you can see how to create a new view together When other people are irritating you, look for their motivations, so that you realize that irritating behavior is something everyone does, and look for their more attractive qualities If the person is being abusive or dangerous, however, just do whatever you need to do to stop interacting with them until it is safe

Examine situations, good or bad, thoroughly Search out every angle The more you can see about the situation, the more you have to work with See challenges, not threats Focus on progress, not perfection Focus on possibilities, not problems Practice breathing slowly and deeply in difficult situations See reality clearly, accept it, and then problem solve from that view If you look for the positive you will find it

It is much easier to be successful when you find the opportunities and possibilities in every situation, the people who are capable and willing to help you, and the best qualities in yourself to get the job done Seek out and focus on the best in yourself, other people, and the world around you You’ll be more successful than you imagined Tracy Crowe is the author of this article.

Author : tracy
It is said that the two biggest things preventing someone from being successful are the fear of success and the fear of failure In my experience, the fear of failure is the more powerful of these We "need" to make the right decision and do the right thing We "need" to have everything go the way we planned it But life just does not work that way There are no guarantees in life (except death and taxes)

Perhaps the biggest problem with being afraid of failure is that it stops us from taking risks The dictionary defines risk as "exposure to the chance of injury or loss; a hazardous or dangerous chance" The truth is that just about anything you can do involves a risk Even if you just walk across the street, you risk being run over by a car There is always the risk that we will make the wrong decision We all know that the bigger the risk the bigger the reward Yet risk is a pretty scary thing to most of us We would rather play it safe even if it means forgoing the reward

All risks that are taken in order to define and improve yourself involve some kind of choice These choices bring on feelings of uncertainty (because you can not know the outcome in advance), anxiety (because you fear the unknown), and guilt (you must leave behind what you have known and been), and often mixed feelings of exhilaration and fear Some risks are monumental, such as moving across the country to start a new job, and some are less dramatic but equally significant, such as resisting the urge to do the popular or easy thing

Risks taken in order to define and improve yourself can be broken down into three kinds The first kind of risk is self-improvement risks, which you take in hope that they will improve your life in some way People are often afraid to take these risks because they may lead to personal failure, or because they may require significant personal sacrifice before you can get long-term benefits, or because you must sacrifice predictable routines and familiar things for the possibility of growth

The second kind of risk is commitment risks, which you take by committing yourself either to a person or relationship (such as when you fall in love), or to a value (such as a cause or a career) People are often afraid to commit because they are afraid that they will make a bad choice and have to live with it for a long time (such as a person who gets married and then finds out that they do not get along with their spouse) Being committed is what leads to true satisfaction with life

The third kind of risk is self disclosure risks, which you take when you reveal to others who you really are, how you feel, and what you want or need People are often afraid to take these risks because they may lead to disapproval and rejection You can not be assertive without taking self disclosure risks

The thing that is probably the most difficult for most of us to understand is that in order to have genuine security, you must take risks If you never take a risk, you never learn that you can deal with problems that come up, and you never can take advantage of new and better ways of doing things when those opportunities arise People who are afraid to take risks are likely to be frightened, rigid, closed, and unchanging They have trouble coping under stress Successful people feel fear too The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is that successful people do not let fear stop them from taking action anyway They are not afraid to take risks They are not afraid of being wrong
They are open, flexible, and changing

We focus on a particular outcome and decide that if we do not achieve it then we have failed, and failure would prove that we are incompetent, and by extension undeserving of love In reality, failure to achieve a certain outcome proves nothing of the sort Everything depends on how you look at it

Failure is a fact of life Whether failure is a problem is determined by your attitude towards it If you learn from your failures, then you have succeeded in a way because you now know what not to do next time There always will be a next time The other thing is that often if you think that achieving something will bring you what you want, the truth is that God knows an even better way to bring you it An example might be when you don't get the job you coveted, but then you find one that is even better In this case being a failure at getting the first job wasn't a bad thing because it allowed you to take the one that was even better You can probably think of times in your own life when a failure turned out to actually be a blessing in disguise Tracy Crowe is the author of this article.
